Sponsorship Program

The sponsorship program is designed to help students with their fees over a single term. The school year consists of three terms and starts in January and ends in November. The fees for each trimester is $80. Each of these students have written their own bios, explaining their need for assistance and what they enjoy about school. Please "Meet the Students" under our Sponsor a Student program.

How their system works

Secondary school in Rwanda is S1 thorough S6 (the equivalent of 7th through 12th grade.) When visiting our Sponsor a Student page, you will see that their year appears after their name. École des Sciences Nyanza has, as the name implies, a strong emphasis in the sciences, which explains why so many students aspire to a future in the medical field.

Our Gratitude

Thank you for sponsoring a student. Your donation is greatly appreciated. After sponsorship you will receive a letter including the email address for the student you have sponsored. If you choose, you may correspond with the student by email. This is great practice for the students with english and with computer use! You will also receive a donation receipt for your tax records.
